NSS specializes in providing an innovative range of IT security and compliance offerings for small and medium sized businesses in the financial, government and healthcare services industries.
NSS was founded by Tony Howlett in 2000, as an outgrowth of his extensive experience operating a successful Internet provider.
He saw that small and medium sized businesses were becoming as vulnerable to Internet based attacks and hackers as any large company. Security in the regulated banking and medical communities, where the protection of data is so critical emerged as a new concern. He created a suite of services that would provide smaller companies with “Fortune 500” levels of computer security, at a reasonable price, without the operational complexity usually associated with such products.
NSS created a sophisticated group of services designed to provide contemporary security at a reasonable price, as well as the consulting, remediation and support that goes along with a complete security solution.
